Maximizing outdoor living and views are the primary concepts of Prototype 2. Most well-suited to a steeply-sloping lot with a strong view, this design consists of three distinct geometrical forms, each with its own axial orientation and function. The public spaces are in the center, with a higher roof. Bedroom suites array from the center via a breezeway gallery, buffered from the public spaces by exterior terraces and garden areas.

Prototype 2 has dramatic living spaces, three full and private bedroom suites, and multiple exterior garden spaces worked throughout, but still maintains a relatively compact footprint on the site. The design can easily be modified to take advantage of existing 'feature vegetation' like major trees and cactuses. The master bedroom has a large private exterior garden space visible through floor to ceiling glazing to connect the interior and exterior spaces visually.
