Valley Street and Church Street, Noe Valley, San Francisco, CA
Completed 2012
1896 square foot historical restoration and interior gut-remodel with rear extension
The Historic Rehabilitation in Noe Valley District project is one of four adjacent classic San Francisco houses built in the 1940s in then brand new Noe Valley. The concept of this project was to restore and preserve the original street-facing facade, and create a new, open, transparent and modern face to the rear yard. Additionally, the design creates two levels of indoor-outdoor spaces for entertaining. Several upper roof terraces offer views of the Mission District, as well as the “Sister Act” church.
